Mobility vs. Flexibility
The difference between how far a joint can move and how well you can control that motion.
Flexibility usually describes how far a tissue can lengthen passively. Mobility describes usable, controlled motion through a range you can actually access under load.
Both matter, but control is often the more meaningful target for people who feel stiff yet already have reasonable passive range.
Applying it
Combine gentle range work with strength through that range. Progress gradually, and use discomfort as information rather than a target.
