Why hips ache after sitting, after training, or alongside low-back symptoms.

Hip discomfort commonly involves the joint itself, surrounding musculature, or referral from the lumbar spine. Because the hip and low back share movement demands, symptoms in one region often involve the other.

Reasonable first steps

Vary positions, progress activity gradually, and address mobility and strength together. Pain that limits walking, worsens at night, or follows a specific injury should be evaluated.
