What Happens During a Chiropractic Evaluation?

A walk-through of a thorough first-visit evaluation — history, examination, measurements, and how findings shape the plan.

A thorough evaluation begins with a detailed conversation. Your provider will ask about your concern, how it started, what makes it better or worse, and how it affects daily life.

The examination usually includes posture and range-of-motion testing, orthopedic and neurological screening as indicated, and objective measurements such as posture analysis or nervous-system scans when they will meaningfully inform the plan.

The results guide a written recommendation — a care plan, additional testing, or referral, whichever fits the findings.
