How to Set Up Your Desk
A straightforward checklist for screen height, chair support, keyboard position, and lighting.
A reasonable workstation reduces how hard you have to work to stay comfortable. It does not need specialty equipment.
The essentials
Position the top of the screen near eye level so the head is not tipped forward for hours. Support the forearms so the shoulders can rest. Keep the keyboard and mouse close enough that the elbows stay near the body.
Set the chair so the feet are supported and the pelvis is stable. Then plan to change position anyway — even a good setup benefits from movement.
