The pelvic ring and surrounding soft tissue play a central role in labor and delivery. Prenatal chiropractic focuses on comfort, mobility, and pelvic balance in the weeks leading up to birth.

Labor is a coordinated event of mother and baby. The pelvis needs to move freely, the low back needs to tolerate load, and the nervous system needs to regulate throughout.

Common goals in the third trimester

  • Support pelvic mobility and comfort.
  • Address low-back and hip discomfort that limits movement.
  • Coach positioning and gentle movement patterns for late pregnancy.

Note

Always coordinate

Any specific labor or delivery decisions belong with your OB or midwife. Chiropractic care is a comfort and mobility-focused adjunct.
