What Happens to the Body After a Car Accident?

Collision forces can strain the soft tissues of the neck and back even at lower speeds. It is common for symptoms to appear or intensify over the following days as inflammation develops and the initial stress response fades.
Appropriate next steps
Emergency evaluation is warranted for severe pain, neurological symptoms, head injury, or any concern about fracture. Once serious injury is excluded, a musculoskeletal evaluation can document findings and guide graded return to normal activity.
